Donate to the Cape Cod Times Needy Fund
For 71 years the Cape Cod Times Needy Fund has been here to help needy families through emergencies. The money it raises helps local families and individuals pay for food, rent, mortgage payments, utility and heating bills, medical costs and other one-time expenses.
Those helped by the Needy Fund do not receive cash. Payments are made directly to vendors through a voucher system, so most of the money spent ends up back in the community.

Donor Listings
Beginning in early December, the Cape Cod Times publishes a list of individuals and groups (who have donated to the Needy Fund. Donations can be made anonymously, in your or your family's name, or in memory of another. Recognizing the donations in print is done as space allows and in the order that donations are received.
Your Contribution
Contributions to the Needy Fund are tax-deductible as charitable contributions as defined under state and federal laws. You may be able to double your donation through your employee matching gifts program. Please inquire at your company. Donors who contribute $250.00 or more will receive a letter of receipt from the Needy Fund by mail in early 2008 for IRS tax purposes.
